—— queer:raum is a Munich-based initiative of queer artists and cultural practitioners dedicated to increasing the visibility of queer perspectives in art and society. The participating artists work across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, photography, performance, drag, music, theatre, as well as political and activist practices.

The initiative regularly organizes exhibitions, performances, and other cultural events throughout Munich, and has collaborated with organizations and venues including Münchner Aids-Hilfe, LEZ, Rote Sonne, Galerie Einwand, Villa Stuck, Habibi Kiosk, and the Ander Art Festival. Its aim is to make queer perspectives visible across diverse cultural contexts, create spaces for dialogue and community, and contribute to a more inclusive and diverse cultural landscape.
